The beaches of the island are all very beautiful:
below are listed some of the most characteristic.

Thanks to its Southern exposure, it is the first amongst
the island beaches to be already frequented by bathers in
the Spring months. Well known by the young who make it their
meeting point.

A long beach, starting from the town and finishing at
Guardiola
on the extreme right, where the gulf closes in on itself,

A small, sandy beach located in an unusual inlet and surrounded
by smooth, white rocks that make it all the more charming.
It is easily accessible from S. Andrea by an easy path over

Biodola Beach is located inside the gulf of the same name
together with that of Forno and Scaglieri, all very pretty
and easily accessible.

It is the biggest beach on the island, starting from the
center of town and finishing after 1500 m in the Foce locality.

same name, where you also find numerous camping sites.

Much appreciated for its fine sand and the large amount
of vegetation that surrounds the long, narrow inlet.

(Portoferraio) Together with the beaches of Ghiaie, Capo
Bianco and Sansone, it is well known for the clarity of
its water which contrasts with the white pebbles.
